The beauty of Ayurveda, especially within the traditional way we are blessed to find out this science at AK Ayurvedic Clinic, is that it touches not only the body, But also the mind and soul, enabling the potential for profound personal transformation. At the level of the body, Ayurveda has taught me tremendous responsibility. At the mental level, For the soul, Ayurveda has provided the keys to liberation, and deeper reference to who beyond the body and mind.
Ayurveda has impacted at the physical level to require responsibility for own health. This is because, unlike modern, western medicine, which works at the extent of mere symptom management, Ayurveda addresses the basis causes of not only physical, but also emotional, and existential, suffering. Through Ayurveda, responsible for everything to enter through the doorways of all of senses. That is because the significance of everything.
Responsibility can be broken down into the words "ability" and "response." Responsibility is, thus, in a very real sense, our ability to respond, rather than react, to any given situation that may come our way. When we are unaware of what is causing the health problem(s) we face, it is only natural to feel a sense of helplessness. Before we knew why we would always feel (sometimes excruciating) pain at some point during my menstrual cycles, we used to dread that time of the month, just to be able to not have to go through the torture of abdominal cramps and lower backaches.
Here are a few of favorite Ayurvedic practices:
When you get out of bed within the morning, drink a glass of warm water. You can add lemon or lime if you wish. The water will awaken your gastrointestinal system and therefore the citrus will help to detox your system. Warm water balances all three dos-has, promotes a good appetite, helps with weight loss, and helps flush toxins from your body. What more could you invite from an easy glass of water?
Most of your immune system is in your gut, so you need to keep the toxins flowing and flushing out as much as possible. If you are dehydrated or if you need to boost your immune system (and who doesn't?) then try this free, simple hot water detox. Simply drink a mug of predicament with NOTHING in it every hour for a couple of days. The hot water will open up the system and permit it to empty naturally. Repeating it every hour approximately will deep clean your gut system and obtain obviate potential illnesses. This is so much more appealing than taking antibiotics and prescriptions!
In the morning, eat a breakfast that's just enough to get you to lunch. In the middle of the day, eat your largest meal as you are busiest during the day, but only eat enough to last you until dinner. For dinner, eat only enough to get yourself to sleep. For weight loss, eat less for dinner - a clear soup or green salad. It's so simple and makes so much sense.
When you shower in the morning or before bed, finish your shower with a few tablespoons of organic sesame oil. Massage your body well with it, especially areas of the driest skin. The oil will leave your skin healthy and glowing all day. You won't need lotions and this way, you can avoid commercial chemical concoctions while saving money at the same time!
Incorporate these Ayurvedic habits into your daily routine and enjoy the simple results you'll receive. Stay in balance and your health will dramatically improve physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually!
